About our 10 Hour Class

Our Course Content

This is our core anger management class, divided into ten chapters. Completion of this material gives you 10 hours of anger management credit. The content and length of the course were designed to satisfy most court and workplace requirements for anger management content when you are required to "complete a course of anger management."

For those taking the class voluntarily for personal development or to be less angry, we have found that our 10-hour core content is highly effective in changing attitudes and thoughts, which then help you deal differently with anger triggers in your life.

The content of the class is based on a model of anger management in which we teach you the eight tools of anger control. These tools help you acquire the thought and behavior skills needed to control how angry you become and how you express it.

Anger management is not about never getting angry. That would be impossible because our brain is "hard-wired" to become angry when frustrated, have a goal blocked, or things don't go our way. Sometimes, we encourage people to express anger more often (instead of less often) but in a controlled, respectful way before things get out of control or layers of resentment build. Put another way, as we teach it, anger management is about controlling how angry you become and how you express it or communicate with others.

Instructional Videos

We have produced numerous short videos to illustrate and verbally explain the eight tools of anger control and how you can apply them to your life and relationships. These videos bring the class to life to enhance your learning experience.

Bonus Report and Book

You can download a free report titled "Survival Guide for Dealing With Angry People" to provide you with even more information. Part 1 of this report gives you eight tips for dealing with explosive persons who confront you to defuse particularly dangerous situations. Part 2 gives you tips on how to deal with people in your life who are chronically angry toward you.

On completion of the course, you can download a free copy of the 103-page book and workbook on which this course is based: "Anger Management for the Twenty-First Century."

This is for your future reference to refresh your memory about the eight tools of anger control and how to apply them to your life.

Online Quizzes as part of the class

Almost every chapter ends with a short quiz to give feedback on how well you learned the chapter material. You do not have to pass these quizzes to achieve class credit. They are built into the program to help you learn. If you do not pass the quiz, you can return to that chapter to review the material and then retake the quiz.

Online Final Examination

To get class credit, you do have to pass a 33-item True and False test at the end of the course. The online program immediately tells you if you passed or not. Don't worry! You can review the material and then take the test as many times as necessary until you pass with 70% correct answers.

Certificates of Completion

Immediately upon completion and passing the final test, you can download and print a certificate of completion that verifies you have completed a 10-hour anger management course.
